Private Discussion Groups for Post-Level Clubs Now Available

As our amateur radio community continues to thrive at the local level through the TALARC Post Cooperative, we are always looking for better ways to help local clubs connect, coordinate, and share ideas.

We are excited to announce a brand-new feature on the website: Any licensed Amateur Radio Club formed by an American Legion Post can now request and host their own private discussion Group right here on the TALARC website!

Whether your local club is organizing an upcoming emergency communications drill, planning a Field Day, or just wants a dedicated space to chat about gear and net schedules without cluttering the main forums, these private spaces are built for you.

What This Means for Your Post Club:

  • Privacy Control: Only members approved by your local club administrators can view or participate in your group's discussions.

  • Streamlined Coordination: Keep your meeting minutes, technical questions, and local event planning organized in one central hub.

  • Easy Access: Your members can log into talarc.org and jump straight into your local group alongside the main community spaces.

How to Get Your Group Started:

If your American Legion Post has a licensed club and you would like to set up a private space, have your club leadership reach out to us at info@talarc.org. Please include your Post number, location, and club call sign so we can verify and get your private area built out.

Thank you for everything you do to keep our airwaves active and our veteran community connected!
